Each pair is individually lasted to your foot's exact measurements. We select only museum-calf, shell cordovan, and finest full-grain leathers — then hand-welt the sole in the traditional Goodyear and Veldtschoen methods.

DAYUAN's master cordwainers — trained in the traditions of Jermyn Street and the ateliers of Florence — handcraft each pair through more than 200 individual steps. The result is not merely footwear. It is the expression of a philosophy: that true luxury lies in the perfect fit.
The epitome of formal elegance. Closed lacing system, clean silhouette — the definitive dress shoe for the most distinguished occasions.
Open-tab lacing provides a relaxed elegance and superior comfort. Equally distinguished at the boardroom or the dinner table.
Two gold or silver buckle straps replace laces entirely — an aristocratic heritage that reads as effortlessly contemporary. Single or double buckle.

The method by which sole meets upper determines durability, weight, flexibility, and soul. We offer three construction methods — each a statement of intent.
固特异缝制
The gold standard of durable shoemaking. A leather welt is stitched to both the upper and the insole, then to the outsole — creating a triple-layered foundation that can be resoled indefinitely. Waterproof, weather-resistant, and built for a lifetime.
布莱克缝制
A single stitch passes through insole, upper, and outsole — producing an astonishingly sleek profile. Preferred by Italian maestros for its close-to-foot silhouette and immediate suppleness. Thinner, lighter, more elegant.
手工沿条
Every stitch made by hand, needle by needle, by a single craftsman. The pinnacle of shoemaking craft — found only in the finest bespoke ateliers worldwide. Each pair requires three to four days of dedicated handwork.
We source exclusively from the world's most prestigious tanneries — Haas in France, Horween in Chicago, Badalassi Carlo in Tuscany. Every hide is selected by hand.
法国小牛皮
The finest calfskin available. Sourced from Haas tannery in Strasbourg — dense, tight grain, capable of a mirror shine. The default choice of Savile Row and Jermyn Street.
贝壳科多万
Harvested from the rump of the Thoroughbred horse — a single shell per side. Horween tannery in Chicago. Extraordinarily dense, developing a waxy patina of legendary depth over decades.
绒面革
Buffed from the inner flesh of calfskin — velvety, tactile, and uniquely expressive. Sand, tobacco, snuff, and midnight blue are among our permanent offerings, alongside seasonal colours.
箱型小牛皮
Chrome-tanned to achieve a rigid, structured surface that holds its shape with minimal care. Glossy, formal, and exceptionally water-resistant — the quintessential court shoe leather.
苏格兰粒纹皮
Embossed with a distinctive pebbled surface from Scottish tanneries. Highly resistant to rain, scuffs, and the elements — the traditional choice for country boots and robust town shoes.
异域珍稀皮料
For the collector of the extraordinary. We offer ethically sourced crocodile (Porosus & Niloticus), Varanus lizard, Ostrich, and Stingray — each a conversation in itself.
From first conversation to final delivery — a journey of approximately 12 to 16 weeks.

We begin with an unhurried conversation — your lifestyle, your wardrobe, the occasions you dress for. We discuss style, last shape (the silhouette of the shoe), toe shape, heel height, and your preferences in detail. No rush.
测量与楦头
27 precise measurements are taken of each foot — length, width, instep, heel width, and arch profile. A bespoke wooden last is then carved to match your exact anatomy. This last belongs to you, permanently, for future orders.
裁版与裁切
Your cordwainer drafts a paper pattern unique to your last. The leather is then "clicked" — cut by hand with a curved knife — ensuring the strongest, most beautiful portions of each hide are used. Not a centimetre is wasted carelessly.
缝帮与绷楦
The upper is closed — seams stitched with waxed linen thread at precise tensions — then wetted and stretched over the last by hand. The leather takes memory of its form over 48 hours. Construction follows: welt, sole, and finishing heel.
整饰与交付
The sole is bevelled, burnished, and finished by hand. The uppers receive multiple layers of wax polish, applied in circular motions — achieving the first stage of a patina that will only deepen with your years of wear. Delivered in a cedar shoe box with trees.
